As puppies they need 3 meals a day.
then you drop to two meals, leaving out the lunchtime feed
But ultimately, you should be aiming for 1 meal a day.
Some - very few dogs - require a little bit of food in the morning as otherwise they can be sick, but for most dogs, an evening meal - the correct amount of course, is perfectly sufficient.
And what to feed?
There is much controversy about pet food and there's a lot of junk food out there with poor ingredients.
Dry food is good as it encourages dogs to drink which is healthy for their kidneys.
But dogs need very little grain in their diets which is the main ingredient of much big brand dog food. Why? Because it's cheap.
